Hi, I'm Alissa! I am from San Ramon, California. As of this summer 2023, I am 17 years old and a rising senior at Carondelet High School. I have been passionate about art and creative expression for as long as I can remember, and you can usually find me doodling, fiddling with various craft materials, or filling the pages of my sketch journal (when I'm not doing schoolwork, that is). Aside from visual art and design, I also enjoy performance arts. I cantor for my local Church and am a member of the Carondelet/De La Salle Chamber Choir as well as the De La Salle/Carondelet Theatre Company. I had a lot of fun these past two weeks at the UCLA DMA Summer Institute! Although the end of the program is bittersweet, I am happy to leave with a newly refined skill set in design, some great portfolio pieces, and several new friendships.
